Geeta Bajaj Bal Mandir Sansthan 

Teachers' Day was celebrated with enthusiasm in the Institute's Geeta Girdhar Auditorium. The event commenced with the garlanding of the portraits of Goddess Saraswati and Dr. S. Radhakrishnan - India's former President, a renowned philosopher, and an eminent educationist. Students highlighted the significance and history of Teachers' Day.

Smt. Krishna Jasdev Saui, daughter of Late Geeta Bajaj, in her address, inspired the teachers to carry out their duties with honesty, integrity, dedication, and zeal. Teachers were honored by the student-teachers and the school students. Shri Gurdev Singh, the Institute's Secretary, spoke about the challenging role teachers face in contemporary times and emphasized the importance of fostering social and moral values in children.

Speaking on behalf of all the teachers, the B.Ed. Principal pledged to lead the institute toward progress by instilling its traditions, Gandhian values, and a sense of discipline in the students. The event concluded with a lunch hosted by the Institute's President in honor of the teachers.

The Janmashtami festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy at the Geeta Bajaj Bal Mandir Institute. Young School children presented enchanting bhajans dedicated to Lord Krishna, such as "Shriman Radhe Govinda," "Man Bhaj Le Hari Ka Pyara Naam Hai," and "Manihari Ka Bhesh Banaya, Shyam Chudi Bechne Aaya." Meanwhile, B.Ed. student-teachers worshipped Lord Krishna by singing bhajans like "Natvar Nagar Nanda," "Bhajo Re Man Govinda," and "Radhe-Radhe... Vrindavan Chanda, Anath Nath Deenbandhu Radhe Govinda." The tiny-tots presented a captivating tableau, dressing up as characters such as Krishna, Sudama, Balarama, Radha, and the serpent Kaliya. To mark Krishna's birth, the school children performed a celebratory dance to the song "Aaj To Badhai Baje Nand Ji Ke Dwar Par," while college students offered prayers with the hymn "He Krishna Karuna Sindhu..." and presented a mesmerizing 'Maha Raas' performance to the song "Mere Kanha Ne Bansi Bajai."

A significant highlight of the event was that Smt. Krishna Jasdev Singh—daughter of the institute's founder – completed 90 years of age on Jaanmashtami ; consequently, the whole Bal Mandir family celebrated her birthday with great love and fanfare. School and college staff extended their heartfelt birthday wishes to 'Didi' and sought her blessings.

The program concluded with the *Aarti* of Lord Shri Krishna.

The spirit of freedom and patriotism prevailed at Geeta Bajaj Sansthan on August 15 as Independence Day was celebrated with great fervour and enthusiasm.

The celebrations commenced with the flag hoisting by Smt. Hardevi Ji, one of the first five alumni of Geeta Bajaj Sansthan. She shared her cherished experiences of the time spent learning with Geeta Didi how she inspired the children to follow the path of hight moral values, dedication to work and service. This was followed by a March Past, with the synchronised beats of the drums creating an ambience filled with a spirit of patriotism and pride in being Indians.

School students and B.Ed. students presented patriotic songs, filling the air with courage, gratitude, and reverence for our brave martyrs. The PT display was an incredible sight and was greatly appreciated by everyone present.

The celebrations concluded on a solemn and patriotic note leaving everyone with a renewed sense of pride and love for the nation.
