What began as a humble initiative by freedom fighter Geeta Bajaj in 1952 to educate underprivileged children in Jaipur, has grown into a bright beacon of hope for the society. After nearly seven and a half decades, Geeta Bajaj Bal Mandir Sansthan continues to honour her legacy by empowering children and aspiring women-teachers by providing them quality education.

Our History.. How it all started...
It was on the 7th of July, the auspicious day of 'Guru Purnima' in 1952, when on the roof of small tenement where she lived with her daughter in a small rented room, that a young lady embarked upon the sacred task of education for the downtrodden. The first to be picked up were four or five children of daily wagers in the Moti Doongri area of Jaipur. It was indeed a humble beginning ! With simply no resources except a resolute will and spirit, she literally followed the message that Rabindra Nath Tagore had tried to convey in his song 'EKLA CHALO RE' (March ahead - all alone) when she began her long and arduous journey of a dedicated social life in independent India, unmindful of obstacles and results.

80th Independence Day Celebrations
The spirit of freedom and patriotism prevailed at Geeta Bajaj Sansthan on August 15 as Independence Day was celebrated with great fervour and enthusiasm.
The celebrations commenced with the flag hoisting by Smt. Hardevi Ji, one of the first five alumni of Geeta Bajaj Sansthan. She shared her cherished experiences of the time spent learning with Geeta Didi how she inspired the children to follow the path of hight moral values, dedication to work and service. This was followed by a March Past, with the synchronised beats of the drums creating an ambience filled with a spirit of patriotism and pride in being Indians.
School students and B.Ed. students presented patriotic songs, filling the air with courage, gratitude, and reverence for our brave martyrs. The PT display was an incredible sight and was greatly appreciated by everyone present.
The celebrations concluded on a solemn and patriotic note leaving everyone with a renewed sense of pride and love for the nation.

Geeta Bajaj Sansthan celebrates its 75th Foundation Day
The 75th Foundation Day celebration of our institution was observed with great enthusiasm, gratitude, and reverence, with glowing tributes being paid to our Founder, Late Geeta Bajaj, who started the noble work of teaching children of the underprivileged class of society this day in 1952. The occasion was dedicated to honouring her vision, values, and legacy. Ms Rashmi Chaturvedi and Ms Seema Agarwal , Director and Principal , respectively, of the well known Kanoriya College located in Jaipur, were the Chief Guests on the occasion.
Ms Rashmi Chaturvedi congratulated everyone and recalled the days of Geeta didi and the days when at least one child from each home attended our school. Ms Seema Agarwal addressed the students of the School and the College and advised them to stay rooted and face the changing times with the help of their teachers and parents.

New Academic Session begins at School
The academic session 2026-27 resumed after the summer vacation as students returned to school.
The school welcomed both new and returning students.
For the record, this year the government had notified that classes for the session 2026-27 will start already as soon as the results for the previous session were announced, from !st April 2026. This brings the academic calendar of schools belonging to the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education in line with the calendar of the Central Board of Secondary Education.
During the first week, teachers had orientation sessions and planned engaging classroom activities, interactive sessions even as the studies restarted in full earnest.
