गुरु पूर्णिमा, 07 जुलाई 1952 के पुनीत-पावन दिन प्रारम्भ हुये इस विद्यालय की स्थापना स्व. गीता बजाज ने की थी, जो जयपुर एवं राजस्थान के जन-मानस में एक निर्भीक स्वतंत्रता सेनानी, समर्पित समाज सेविका, सच्ची गांधीवादी एवं शैक्षिक दूरदृष्टि के रूप में जानी जाती थीं. ज्ञातव्य है कि उन्हें वर्धा आश्रम में पूज्य ‘बापू’ के सान्निध्य में रहने का सुयोग भी मिला था.

राजस्थान माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड, अजमेर एवं राज्य सरकार से मान्यता प्राप्त यह उच्च माध्यमिक हिन्दी माध्यम सहशैक्षिक विद्यालय प्राचीन भारतीय जीवन मूल्यों तथा आधुनिकतम ज्ञान-विज्ञान का अदभुत एवं अपूर्व समन्वय है.

स्थान :

जयपुर नगर के बीचों-बीच स्थित विद्यालय परिसर 13,625 वर्ग मीटर में फैला हुआ है. हरे-भरे वृक्षों, घास के मैदानों तथा महकते पुष्पों एवं लताओं के बीच स्थित विद्यालय का भव्य भवन बरबस ही अपनी ओर आकृष्ट करता है. राजस्थान एवं जयपुर के जाने-माने संस्थान एवं स्थल- राजस्थान विश्वविद्यालय, एस.एम.एस. स्टेडियम, एस.एम.एस. अस्पताल तथा राम निवास बाग विद्यालय परिसर से 2 किमी. के दायरे में ही स्थित हैं.

शैक्षिक दर्शन  :

सैद्धांतिक ज्ञान को प्रयोगात्मक प्रामाणिक व्यावहारिक एवं स्व-अनुभवजन्य ज्ञान का रूप देने तथा शिक्षा विभाग एवं राजस्थान माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड के निर्देशों की क्रियान्विति के उद्देश्य से विद्यालय में भौतिक विज्ञान, रसायन विज्ञान, जीव विज्ञान, भूगोल, गृह विज्ञान आदि विषयों की प्रयोगशालाएँ विकसित की गई हैं। प्रयोगशालाओं में सभी आवश्यक उपकरण, यंत्र, रसायन पर्याप्त मात्रा एवं रूप में उपलब्ध हैं। विद्यार्थी कुशल प्रशिक्षकों के मार्गदर्शन एवं सहयोग में विभिन्न प्रायोगिक कार्य करते हैं।

The School began on the auspicious day of Guru Purnima, July 07, 1952. It was done by Late Geeta Bajaj, who is sitting in the public mind of Jaipur and Rajasthan as a fearless freedom fighter, dedicated social worker, true Gandhian and educational visionary. It is known that she also got the opportunity to live in the presence of respected ‘Bapu’ in Wardha Ashram.

Recognized by Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer and the State Government, this higher secondary Hindi medium co-educational school is a wonderful and unique coordination of ancient Indian life values and modern knowledge-science.

School Location :  

The school campus situated in the heart of Jaipur city is spread over 13.625 square meters. The grand building of the school, situated amidst green trees, meadows and fragrant flowers and vines, attracts itself. Well-known institutions and places of Rajasthan and Jaipur- University of Rajasthan, S.M.S Stadium, S.M.S Hospital and Ram Niwas Bagh are all located within the two-kilometer radius of the school.

Laboratories :

With the objective of giving theoretical knowledge the form of experimentally authentic practical and self-experiential knowledge and to implement the instructions of Education Department and Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, the school has developed laboratories for subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Home Science etc. All the necessary equipment, instruments, chemicals are available in sufficient quantity and form in the laboratories. Students perform various practical tasks under the guidance and support of skilled instructors.
