Annual activities of the school
- Entrance Festival – New student entrance festival is celebrated from 22nd June to 31st July.
- 7th July is the foundation day of the school- Students celebrate this day as a festival. Salutations are made to the venerable founder of the organization and all the excellent work done by her is highlighted. It is taught to take inspiration from the struggle done by them and their sacrifice.
- Thereafter, on the auspicious day of Gurupurnima, there are lectures and speeches by scholars in the form of special guests to bring out the importance of Guru in life and in their ideals, so that children can be motivated towards a positive attitude in their lives.
- 11th July Population Day – Children are made aware of the importance of this day and the alarming and explosive condition of the growing population in the changing environment, and information is given about the harmful consequences of the increasing population.
- 3rd August: Death anniversary of the founder of the school, Pujya Geeta Didi: On this day, the whole school family pays homage to her by remembering her. The program of inter-school ‘bhajan’ competition is kept. At the district level, the children of about 20 to 25 schools give their beautiful presentations, and the winning school is given a prize.
- Independence Day- This national day is celebrated with great enthusiasm by the entire school family. Flag hoisting by the chief guest, march past, physical exercise performance by children, cultural programs, etc. activities are done.
- Krishna Janmashtami- This festival has been celebrated since the beginning as a special festival, following the tradition of the school. On this day tableaux based on the life of Lord Krishna are presented. Soulful hymns, dances and songs are also presented. Coincidentally, this day is also the birthday of Krishna Didi, the guide of our school.
- First Exam – In the last week of August, the first three-day exam is completed as per the date fixed by the school. A week after the end of the examination, a parent-teacher meeting is organized in which parents of all the children are requested to come and discuss the progress of their children. Suggestions are taken from the parents, and they are given the progress sheets of the children.
- 5th September Teachers’ Day – The birthday of Dr. Radhakrishnan is celebrated as Teachers’ Day. On this occasion, a teacher felicitation ceremony is organized by the management committee of the school.
- 14th September Hindi Day – 14 September is celebrated as Hindi Day. Hindi is our national language. Every citizen is proud of his national language. The civilization and culture of any country depends on the national language of that country. From this point of view, the importance of their national language is explained to the children, and they are motivated to adopt it.
- Gandhi Camp – This school is the only institution in Rajasthan inspired by Gandhi philosophy, where weekly Gandhi Camp has been organized continuously since 1954, two years after its establishment.
- Time change is a natural process. Therefore, according to the demand of the time, the Gandhi camp has now been reduced to five days. This camp started four days before Gandhi Jayanti and ends on October 02, Gandhi Jayanti.
- During this period, physical efforts are put by the children for the welfare of society. Children are encouraged to clean and make handicrafts as well. Different types of items are made through learning, such as surf, soap, mangodi, papad, candle, pickles etc. Also, various inter-school competitions are held.
- The daily inauguration of this camp is done with Gandhiji’s favorite hymn and Sarvadharma prayer. All benefit by the lectures of Gandhian thinkers under the lecture series every day.
