The College is an integral part of the Geeta Bajaj Bal Mandir Sansthan which is a non-profit Society. Established in 1976, this unique institution was started by the late freedom fighter and nationalist Geeta Bajaj, the founder of the Bal Mandir Sansthan (established in 1952) as a part of a nationwide campaign for children and women’s education and empowerment. The institute provides all it can for its students to learn, have fun and achieve their career goals with a strict academic schedule as well as a host of non-academic and sports activities in a very relaxed atmosphere.

The Geeta Bajaj W.T.T. College today has a permitted student strength of 120 students for the 2 years’ Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course, and provides all necessary facilities to the pupil teachers. It gives them an all encompassing practical and multi dimensional platform for their education. Our institution has a well equipped Language Lab, Computer Lab, Psychology Lab, Home Science Lab, a rich Library and also a Technology Lab, as well as its own state of the art Auditorium.

The college is committed to improve the quality of teachers’ education and for preparing competent teachers for their professional lives. The thrust of education is on the overall personality development of trainee teachers, making them technology savvy, and to equip them with sufficient professional competence to cater to the needs of good and high quality secondary education system.

This Geeta Bajaj W.T.T. College is well known for its qualitative level of training. Not only have the examination results been cent-percent but also the students have always obtained first divisions in theory papers and practicals. This is possible because of the dedication of highly qualified and experienced teachers.

Along with teaching learning, social and cultural programmes are organized here in order to cultivate all-round development of the future teachers. Thus our College is different from other colleges because of its ideologies and special features. This College lays emphasis on the value of labour, self-development and inculcating a sense of patriotism in its pupils. The students and staff of this college are expected to follow the motto of “work is worship” and assimilate self-discipline, self-dependence, and to appreciate the importance of labour and follow a culture of high social norms.

The ultimate aim of the Geeta Bajaj B.Ed. College is the Intellectual, Physical, Moral and Aesthetic development of future teachers – the vital instruments to prepare the upcoming generations of the nation for the job of educating the youth of the developing country.

Mission

The following is the Mission Statement of our college :

Location of the College 

The Geeta Bajaj B.Ed. College is situated , in the heart of Jaipur at Geeta Bajaj Marg, off Govind Marg, near Moti Doongri Circle. It is well connected with other areas of the city.
